Private Tax Strategy Forum 2026 | Planning Ahead for Major Financial Transitions

Description

Strategic Tax Planning for Important Financial Transitions

Major financial decisions often carry long-term tax consequences. Strategic planning can help shape those outcomes.

Join us for an educational forum focused on strategic tax planning for individuals and families facing important financial decisions. This session will explore how forward-looking planning can help potentially reduce lifetime tax exposure and improve financial outcomes during major financial transitions.

Rather than focusing on tax preparation, this discussion will highlight how thoughtful planning can help coordinate investment decisions, retirement income strategies, and charitable giving within a broader financial strategy.

Who This Forum Is Designed For

This forum may be particularly valuable for individuals and families who:

• Are approaching or recently entering retirement
• Own or recently sold a business
• Have accumulated significant retirement accounts
• Hold highly appreciated investments or concentrated stock positions
• Are expecting or have received a meaningful inheritance
• Want to better understand how tax planning fits within a long-term financial strategy
• Are navigating financial decisions following the loss of a spouse

This forum is designed for individuals with more complex financial circumstances, including business owners, executives, retirees, and those approaching retirement.

The forum will be led by Brent Jackson, Founder and Chief Investment Strategist of Jackson Wealth Management.

This discussion will draw on real-world planning scenarios frequently encountered by business owners, executives, and retirees as they navigate major financial transitions.

Topics We Will Explore

During the forum we will explore planning concepts such as:

• Understanding the potential tax impact of large retirement accounts and future Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)

• Strategic Roth conversion planning and managing tax brackets in retirement

• Tax considerations when selling a business or experiencing a major liquidity event

• Planning opportunities for individuals with highly appreciated investments

• Coordinating charitable giving strategies within a tax-efficient financial plan

• Understanding how tax rules may change for a surviving spouse

These topics are intended to help attendees better understand how thoughtful planning today can influence long-term financial outcomes.
